But it could be me in that photo. If I were a long-distance hiker. Which I could be. Some day.
I recently finished reading Wild: Lost and Found on the Pacific Crest Trail by Cheryl Strayed. I loved it, of course, but I also found myself itching to go on a long-distance hiking trip.
We have already established I have fitness A.D.D. and I am at this moment committed to Pilates, walking and Alignment Snacks. So I must stay focused; stay the course with my current fitness plan. But dang it if I didn't Google "Inn-to-Inn hiking on the Superior Trail." (While the book has me interested in hiking, I read enough about her experience to know that I might want to go the "glamping" route.)
Can you recommend any good books with a fitness/activity theme that makes such fitness/activity something you want to go do yourself? Let's start a summer reading list!
